We love hearing positive feedback from the community that drives us to keep giving.

Jeannie France-Hayhurst

High Sheriff of Cheshire

It was a delight to meet the team and to see how much you achieve in a small place and in a short time with such astonishing efficiency. The entire vision is one which builds self-respect and makes a huge difference to those women who often have no one else thinking of them. You all deserve huge credit for what you do and I’m very proud that your kindness is making such a difference in Cheshire.

Debbie Malone

Volunteer Co-Ordinator,
Stockport Women’s Centre

Big thanks for the toothpaste and brush packs, they have been a big help to our women and also thanks for the welcome packs which continue to help brighten the lives of women who come to us seeking support. We are finding the need for food and toiletries is in increasing demand, we had 600 visitors in March alone!!

By being able to offer these donations it has enabled some of our SU's to heat some food up and/or put the heating on, so we want to thank you so much for your contributions.

Many of our residents move in straight off the streets and have nothing. Upon move in, we are able to provide a tote bag donated by Bare Necessities so that the clients can have a hot shower and attend to their personal hygiene needs, before getting into a clean bed. This makes a huge difference to the new resident and enables them to feel comfortable and settled in their new accommodation. For many it is a way to regain their dignity and self esteem.

Mrs M Garvey

Local School

We gave one of the monthly packs to a year 11 girl yesterday who lives with her dad but he is in hospital on end-of-life care. She was so grateful as she had run out of quite a few items and had been asking other family members to help her. We will keep supporting her every month now as her dad isn’t expected to live beyond this week. Just thought it would be good to share this so you all know how grateful we are for your help.

Donations like this make a genuine difference, helping us support individuals and families in our community who are facing very difficult circumstances. Access to everyday essentials such as toiletries can restore a sense of dignity and comfort, and your support will reach many people who truly need it.

Emerging Futures

To come in off the street to a warm bed and everything I need to clean myself makes a massive difference to my self-esteem. I feel more confident going to meetings with the Job Centre and Probation feeling more presentable.

The Crib

The Crib helps me look after myself as well as my son and it makes me feel better about myself.

What can you do?

Help us end hygiene poverty for good.
